Lluvią House

This is a house with a garden, in an unbeatable location beside the Passeig, right in the city centre. It was designed by the architect Ignasi Oms i Ponsa in 1908 and it is probably his most successful work, revealing a mature, fully Modernist style.
The house, which now belongs to the Manresa City Council, helds the headquarters of Official Association of Architects of the regions Bages-Berguedą-Solsončs and is characterised by an original combination of volumes and a central body with two towers of different proportions and heights. Outstanding features include typically Modernist decoration, with sgraffito on the walls, floral decoration on capitals and corbels; and a tile and brick profile on the cornices.
